Lade is the team lead for the firm’s Private Equity, Fintech, and Technology Team. She regularly
advises foreign and local fintech companies, gaming companies, data centres, and emerging
technology companies on navigating the Nigerian payments system and regulatory compliance
issues. She also negotiates investment agreements either representing investors or private
companies. Her approach is to ensure alignment of interests to ensure long-term goals, whilst
adequately protecting the interests of her clients.
With substantial experience in general corporate commercial matters, Omolade has successfully
negotiated a major concession between a private company and a State Government. She has
advised on a Management Buy-Out leading to a carve-out of a business. She also provided
guidance to a foreign technology company on proposed establishment of operations within a
free zone; and advised a company on issuance of foreign digital assets to Nigerians. Additionally,
she played a key role in negotiating a Meter Service Provider Agreement between a major local
meter manufacturer and eight Distribution Companies in Nigeria.
