Tolulope is a John Taylor scholar of the prestigious University of Aberdeen, Scotland, a Visiting Professor at the Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, a Doctoral student at the Durban University of Technology, South Africa He is the Chairman, International Law Association (ILA) Arbitration Committee, Chairman, Section on Business Law of the Nigerian Bar Association, Training Committee and Partner/Director, Perchstone & Graeys Consulting Limited (UK), the United Kingdom branch of the company.
Ugo heads the firm’s Information and Communications Technology (‘ICT’) Practice Group. He has more than a decade of banking experience, having previously worked in-house at senior levels with some of the leading commercial banks in Nigeria. Ugo possesses a deep understanding of the financial services sector, particularly the Fintech landscape in Nigeria.
Akhigbe graduated from the University of Benin in 2007, and was called to the Nigerian
Bar in 2008. Following his call to the Bar, he joined one of the foremost law firms in
Benin City, Edo State. Over his career, Akhigbe has developed a voice as a passionate
advocate for legal reforms in the public sector, to meet with present day realities and
international best practices. Akhigbe has garnered over a decade of experience providing
strategic advice and representation to clients in complex matters at the various tiers of
court.
Steve is a Dispute Resolution lawyer and is the team lead of the Dispute Resolution team of Perchstone and Graeys LP. He also heads the Leisure Industry team of the firm. Steve obtained his LL.B (Hons) from University of Nigeria Nsukka in 2008. He was admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2009.
Tare heads the Firms’ Banking, Finance & Capital Markets Practice Group. Tare was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2013 and obtained her Master’s degree in Oil and Gas Law from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, United Kingdom.
Tare’s qualifications and experience in the banking, finance, Oil and Gas and fintech industry have greatly impacted her ability to advise on various transactions in the financial space as well as draft and negotiate commercial agreements.
Pius heads the firm’s Intellectual Property and Data Protection teams. He also heads the firm’s Abuja office. Pius was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2014 after obtaining his LL.B (Hons) from Igbinedion University Okada. He has relevant experience advising clients on a broad range of intellectual property and commercial disputes. Since joining the Firm, Pius has garnered vast experience in Corporate Commercial Transactions, Intellectual Property Law, Entertainment Law and Dispute Resolution.
